Hi! I'm Lauren!

I know what it feels like to lose your spark.

I grew up singing my whole life. It was never just a hobby or a talent — it was how I understood myself, how I moved through the world. I did everything you're supposed to do. Trained seriously. Studied at a prestigious university. Moved to New York City at 22 with a Broadway agent and a dream I'd been building my whole life.

And then the industry showed me what it really cost.

The pressure to prove yourself in every room. The desperation to feel seen. The way your creative dreams quietly fade when they stop belonging to you — when they start belonging to the audition, the callback, the opinion of others.

So I rewrote the rules.

I built a business. I became more selective about the stage work I do. I'm in an artistic residency, developing my own show — on my own terms, in my own time, for my own reasons. I have more freedom, more clarity, and more joy in my voice than I ever had chasing "success".

That chapter taught me everything. And it's exactly why I can help you with yours.

WHO I WORK WITH

The most interesting artists are the ones who lived a little first.

The singer who stepped away — for another dream, for a family, for survival, for sanity — and is now finding her way back. The performer who's done everything right and still feels like something essential is missing. The creative who knows she has a gift and is tired of being the only one keeping it small.

You don't need more pressure. You don't need someone to fix you. You need a space that honors all of you — the technique and the trust, the ambition and the grief, the voice you have right now and the one you're still becoming.

That's what I built Your Authentic Voice to be.

HOW I WORK

I'm a professional vocalist, actor, and Musical Theatre and Pop/Rock voice teacher based in Dallas, TX — and I've spent years at the intersection of voice, identity, and creative transformation.

My approach is rooted in science-backed vocal technique, artistic mindset work, and the power of getting out of our own way.

I specialize in Musical Theatre, belting and mixing, and Pop/Rock — but my real specialty is the moment a singer stops managing their voice and starts trusting it. The moment performing stops being something you stress about and becomes something you love again.

1.
POUR IN

Nurture your voice and your creative spirit. Build the relationship with your instrument — and with yourself.

2.
OVERFLOW

Your creative cup fills & spills into every corner of your life — your work, your life, your sense of self.

3.
POUR OUT

Take risks. Be seen. Make value-aligned art on your own terms. Feel like an artist again. This is what you came for.

MY FRAMEWORK

SEE HOW we work together

a little more
about me

I'm a Dallas-based singer, actor, teacher, and creative coach. I work with clients virtually and in-person, and I believe wholeheartedly in the power of play, self-compassion, and doing the work that actually matters — not just the work that looks good on a résumé.

I'm also a singer who is still in it — still creating, still growing, still figuring out what it means to make art on my own terms.

When I'm not in sessions, you can find me developing my own show, singing made-up songs to my dog, thrifting my next outfit, or getting a sweet treat with my husband.
