You've found the place

where your voice stops being something you “fix” and starts becoming something you trust

where the version of you that overthinks, holds back, or second-guesses every note finally gets to exhale and meet the part of you that already knows how to create

where consistency, confidence, and permission are no longer chased externally, but built as an internal sense of artistic authority

where vocal technique, nervous system awareness, and identity work come together to help your voice & artistry hold steady under pressure and in real life

My Story

Hi, I'm Lauren!

If you knew me in 2018, you might have thought I had it all. I was living in New York City pursuing dreams of Broadway, signed with an agent, performing, training, and doing everything “right.” I was living the life I had dreamed of.

There was only one problem. I hated it.

What once felt exciting became filled with insecurity, pressure, perfectionism, and anxiety. And when I realized a Broadway debut wouldn’t fix any of it, I knew I had to step away.

I moved back to Texas feeling like I had failed. Like I couldn't hack it. Like maybe I wasn’t meant to be an artist at all.

That was 6 years ago. Since then, I’ve found my way back to my voice and built a creative life that actually feels good. I perform in work that feels aligned, create my own projects, and feel more confident and at home in my voice than ever. I don’t have to sacrifice myself to be an artist anymore. And now, I help other performers do the same.

My journey taught me everything. It’s exactly why I can help you with yours.

My secret sauce

I'm a professional vocalist, actor, and creative coach who's spent years at the intersection of voice, identity, and creative transformation.

I'm also a singer who is still in it, still creating, still growing, still exploring what it means to make art on my own terms.

My approach is rooted in science-backed vocal technique, artistic mindset work, and the power of getting out of our own way. I believe wholeheartedly in the power of play, self-compassion, and doing the work that actually matters, not just the work that looks good on a résumé.

My real specialty is finding the moment you stop managing your voice and start trusting it. The moment performing stops being something you stress about and becomes something you love again. The moment you think to yourself "dang, I can TOTALLY do this!"

The rules I had to break to find my voice

& I encourage you to do the same

"If you can envision yourself doing anything else, go do that instead."

God forbid a girl contain multitudes amirite?! But seriously, having multiple passions, dreams, & streams of income isn’t just normal, it’s your super power. Having other interests outside of performing doesn’t mean you’re not cut out for an artistic career, it means you’re a person with your own set of skills, values, and POV (of which, artists need a very strong sense of btw).

HUH?!

We were told our lives could look like

As if there are no other options in between?! Everything changed for me when I started believing I could have an artistically fulfilling life without sacrificing my sanity, security, & well-being.

The false dichotomy

A. living out your wildest creative dreams or
B. giving up & working a soul sucking “survival job”

No THANKS!

You were told to wait for the casting team, the record deal, the mass of adoring fans...but they're not the ones with the key to your dreams, YOU are. Whether you want to write/produce your own solo show, release an EP of orginal music, organize a play reading club, start a musical improv group, or use social media as your creative playground, you can make your dreams happen without waiting for anyone else's approval. If this is exciting AND scary, I totally get it. Take my hand, I'll guide you every step of the way.

"Someone else is in charge of green-lighting your dreams."

BOOOOOO!

(Just for fun)

When I'm not coaching or working on my own creative projects I'm

thrifting my next outfit

DIY renovating my house

trying to beat my husband at Mario Kart

stealing the aux to play yacht rock unironically

taking the 329357298213th pic of my dog Ollie's grumpy old man face

seeing local theatre with my friends

getting wayyyyy too into reality TV

crying at sappy commercials #pisces

seeking out the nearest body of water #PISCES!!!
