Singers deserve to feel empowered and  excited about their voice.

Teachers should lead with encouragement and kindness.

Teachers have a responsibility to use evidence-based practices.

Students deserve to have agency and be collaborators in crafting the training they want.

All artists deserve to explore and honor their Authentic Voice.

WHY I LOVE
WHAT I DO

I live for the breakthrough moments. I love the *insert speechless shocked face here* moment after a student hears their voice in a whole new way for the first time.  I love celebrating together with my students when huge vocal milestones are achieved. Most of all, I love creating a space where my students feel free to play and explore and be unafraid of failing. Watching my students come into their dreams in big and small ways is undoubtedly one of the greatest joys of my work.

Student Love

There have been times in my life where singing has felt almost meditative, where I feel relaxed and free in my body and singing just feels good. I hadn't experienced that in a long time, but since working with Lauren I've started to experience that same sort of feeling while singing again. Lauren has played a big role in helping me find the joy in singing again that brought me to musical theatre in the first place.
